A: For those customers with more than one, the type of loss determines the applicable deductible. Customers who have a single deductible, referred to as an all peril deductible, will apply that deductible to all losses.

If there is more than one deductible listed on the declarations page or a deductible that is part of a specific endorsement or coverage, that deductible will apply if a loss occurs. For example, a customer living in a place that frequently experiences wind and hail storms may have a wind/hail deductible as well as an all peril deductible.
